The Entire Assange-case from Swedish perspective, analysis by Aktivarum | augusti 31, 2010

Every text has a story to tell. Here is how the Assange story goes according to the analysis we made during its events unfolding.

As many know I have written several analyses in swedish regarding the Assange-case. However us people discussing this case forgot one thing. The case really is about Mr Julian Assange and the future of Wikileaks in Sweden. Most of the people involved do not understand swedish language.

Also, using google translate is no solution. Its not just about the words. Its about the content and context they are mentioned in. Using english media doesnt work. You get no understanding of the situation in Sweden just by reading what the world press reports. Specially not when the case itself includes internal swedish politics.

This text was really written for Wikileaks and world media. I wanted them to understand what has happened and why, as they thought this was about international politics.

As you will hopefully understand reading this text, it really was about internal swedish politics from the start. More or less any world celebrity in the same situation would have gotten the same treatment by the same people due to the completely baseless radical feminist thory that rape is about power, not about sex.

On final note I had to write this in a hurry to make sure it was done before Monday, thus the bad grammars ;)

The text itself begins here:

What happened and how I look at it.

The first news in Expressen is the double rape suspicion and warrant in absence against founder of Wikileaks (issued Friday 17.00) by the prosecutor on call Kjellstrand. Internet is divided in two sides, the CIA-conspiracy side claiming innocence and the Feminist-male-bashing side claiming guilty. None of them have basis for their claim. Wikileaks twitter refers to being warned for dirty tricks.

The case is very similar to the case of the former secretary of Labor S-O Littorin accused of hiring a callgirl. The accusation in media itself caused harm before even reaching court.

Aftonbladet: The older of the two women comments the case, she says it was consensual sex at first but then Assange “went too far”. However it is sexual molestation for her, not rape. She is quoted saying it is about a man having trouble taking a no for an answer.

It is at this moment we at Aktivarum as the first Swedish blog introduce the idea of this being neither CIA-trick, nor rape but a conflict between radical feminist idea of sex-life and the real world sex-life.

(16.48 Saturday) Chief Prosecutor Eva Finné reverses Kjellstrands decision completely and causes the biggest media frenzy we have seen in ages. Since they have not yet talked to Assange the dismissal of the warrant must be made based on the same information the warrant was made upon. Important to remember here is that the later lesser charges gets fuel in media cause of the first rape-charge. Had the initial charge been “sexual molestation” media would not have been in “frenzy”. Rape is special and unique cause rape is interpreted by feminists as structural male power abuse. Basically the strong guy beating the weak guy, as a student at law school said: Rape is a shame-crime.

Aftonbladet have comments from Assange who says he have no idea who the women are, no idea what the accusation is about and have never had sex without it being consensual. When asked the stupid question if he had sex with anyone at all while in Sweden. Assange rightly told the reporter that is a private matter.

When we commented on this, we went with the theory that this was a cultural clash between theory-sex-life of radical feminist fantasy and real world sex-life. The real problem here was people in media assuming guilty until innocent. The principle in court is innocent until guilty.

Leif Silbersky in DN comments that it is unusual higher-prosecutors overturned lower-prosecutors decisions but it happens and it is to their honor they can confess a mistake since the accusation itself can cause a lot of damage.

The Assange-case by now could be seen as example on how radical feminism makes people act crazy anytime the word “rape” is even mentioned. People also overestimate the value of gossip not realizing it is for entertainment purpose, not facts. There is also irony in the subject of Assanges seminar being “The truth is the first victim of war” clearly same is true about media war.

Rumors online tell names of the two women who made the accusations. They are claimed to be Anna.A (social democrats, SKS) and Amelia.A (the pirate party).  Both are active in politics and thus objects of public interest. Early on it is revealed Anna.A  is a well known radical feminist which partly validates our theory what the case really is about: The Sexual politics of radical feminism.

Anna.A was already known to us as she had earlier tried to ban juvenile lyrics in student-songs at Uppsala University. The claim she was behind the accusation was strengthened by the fact that she just closed her blogs while Google-cache revealed the radical feminist content. One post said “Rape  is a part of men power” “It is time to end the male ideal” which proves she in fact is heavy into the radical feminist viewpoint where the dominant opinion is rape is not about sex but about power.

Now our suspicions were confirmed. It was neither a serial rapist nor a conspiracy by the CIA. It was two young women with warped view of men, unrealistic idea of sex-life and last but not least, a feminist prosecutor on-call with unrealistic picture of what rape means according to the law.

By this moment RO President J.Binninge makes JO notification of the on-call prosecutor Kjellstrand for issuing warrant with not enough information.  Also former chief lawyer Sven-Erik Alhem also criticize the Prosecutors office in DN: He has two strong points

a) Probable cause is the stronger degree of suspicion, that it was lifted a few hours later without anything new in the case is very confusing.

b)  Also, an arrest in the absence is usually not made public. It would give the suspect a chance to escape.

Göran Lysen, Professor of International Law, in DN: ”It smells bad feminism here. Rape cases should be investigated objectively and impersonally as regards the matter as regard to all other crimes.”

A well known Law Blog writes: Assange-story is a scandal. All newspapers went out with the name. All may now crawl to the cross. The story is perhaps the clearest illustration of the hollowness of integrity protection in the media society.

A opposing blog writes:”I have met a sufficient number of victims of rape to say that it is not something a woman simply register or even talk about.”

We commented: Women are not clones, but individuals. Some women are more likely than others to easily report and talk about sex. Some women would never report an obvious rape. Other women could easily notify police of a completely fictional rape and continue to argue that even when they knew they were filmed during voluntary sex. Here is actual absolute proof.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1301755/Mother-alleyway-sex-soldier-cried-rape-hide-shame.html

For this reason it can´t be argued that ”Somebody knows how difficult it is for a woman to notify police ….” No they do not know because they have no experience of the entire female population. They have to learn that there are a number of women (fortunately a minority) that is completely contrary to what people are used to on this issue. The important point here is that claiming one woman makes a false/unfounded accusation doesn’t mean claiming this is something common for women. It is one/a few person/persons doing wrong, not women as a group doing wrong. That the motif for doing it is female doesn’t mean most females with that motif would notify the police. Whether she is that kind of woman is simply bad luck, nothing else!

Amelia.A, on twitter replies on the rumors: No I did not have sex with /that/ man.

An obvious Clinton joke, people in general and the blog Aktivarum specifically no longer think she is involved cause with such a strong personality she would probably have punched the guy and ended the intercourse, not notified the police.

However the rumors about Anna.A is stronger and stronger. It s soon obvious she is most likely the older woman who earlier commented on “hard to take a no” in Aftonbladet. She is correct age, lives at correct place (Södermalm) and the profile of strong feminist opinions fits. She is soon outed on the blog “Gotiska klubben” who actually gives their post an English title to cause international attention. Title is “Anna Ardin, most hated woman in the world?” Because her name is in the title, everyone visiting linked articles or the toplist at wordpress now knows the name.

Aktivarum writes on this: We are not yet certain she is the correct person but here are the reasons Gotiska klubben think she is. (age, place, profile, proximity to assange, closed blogs etc)

The Prosecutors office was engulfed in a media storm. The now famous Video with Rosander on Al-Jazeera is made. The Al-Jazeera reporter asks how the mistake was made. Rosander told them it could not be called mistake because it was normal procedure. Of couse world media did not agree. Even if something is normal (common) that doesn’t mean it is correct or ok.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLy2UOaA0CU

-Surely, the first step is to try and contact the person who is being accused?

I cant give you any details concerning the investigation

-Wouldnt it be logical to try and talk to him?

Uhh… I cant comment on that, unfortunately

-You feel a little embarrased by all of this?

No not at all, thats not in question

-Uhh… Why not?

Because this is normal procedure

-Well, it´s quite normal to accuse somebody of rape and then… two hours later say, no, thats not the case?

Yeah it is quite common that new information gets into a case and that you have to revise uhh… the decisions.

This video makes it obvious Rosander have no idea what she is dealing with. She says lots of weird things, give an overall unprofessional impression and just the body language of the reporter tells a lot of how he feels. Generally Swedish people are embarrassed over this Prosecutors information.

Also by this moment just one of the accusations remain, and that is a lesser crime comparable to stealing a car – and against the other woman, the rape charge is not nothing. Had that been the initial accusation this would not have made media waves all over the world. It is now clear there was a huge error made in the police/justice system.

Aktivarum does a new update: Two English-speaking blogs are also beginning to translate all the information coming from Sweden.

http://nicholasmead.com/2010/08/21/how-to-smear-a-hero/

http://ibnkafkasobiterdicta.wordpress.com/2010/08/22/the-legal-twists-and-turns-of-the-rape-charges-against-julian-assange/

Now the prosecutor s office start with the stonewall tactics. When asked about this they reply they can t comment the investigation in progress. What progress? There is not even a definition of crime. We assume they are being instructed by a PR-person on how to avoid more bad media.

This means they neither confirm a serious accusation, nor drop the case completely (Cause the second the case is dropped people start asking questions) so to avoid questions they keep the absolute lowest rated crime possible, molestation (not sexual) which could be stuff like raunchy phone calls.

Because no information arrives we review what we know. Cultural Marxism means dividing the people of the world in groups with more power and groups with less power. The groups with less power are seemed as special needs groups. Radical feminism means seeing female sexuality as the group with less power and male sexuality as the group with more power, then you use the government to take power from the strong and give to the weak. Basically saying women decide what is ok in sex, men don’t.  Anna.A is a confirmed radical feminist. The younger woman is unknown cause she is not active in politics.

Anna.A is also has worked with women s issues at Uppsala University, specially with sexual harassment cases. She is working with encouraging women to report just about anything they don’t like from guys. The more we read about her the more extreme her opinions on the issue seem. On UU a text regarding sexual harassment goes: “With sexual harassment we mean any unwelcome behavior based on gender or/and sexual nature”. Basically she is outlawing for guys to hit on girls at all without the girls more or less wearing a sign telling it s ok. As told earlier, radical feminist ideas about love and sex are in real conflict with how things happen in the real world when guys and girls hook up. They want things in line with a simple theory of what things “should” be like.

At the moment of our next post at Aktivarum, the name of Anna.A (Anna Ardin, press contact for Assange) has been confirmed. She is clearly the older of the two women and the one the molestation charge refers to. Nobody knows however what this molestation is supposed to be about. Wild rumors and speculation is the result because of the prosecution office not explaining their actions. Soon The Guardian with sources in Sweden claims it has to do with having sex without protection.

”Both women reported that they had been involved in consensual sexual relationships with Assange, but each reported a separate non-consensual incident of a similar character in which Assange allegedly had sex with them without using a condom.” The Guardian.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/aug/24/assange-wikileaks-swedish-prosecutors-charges

Clearly if this is true, it should not even be a police matter. There is no rule saying people absolutely have to have sex the way the partner wants it. That’s a matter of individual choice.

Now some words about the rhetorical tactic Guild by association. This means making people look guilty by referring to something that looks similar. The leftwing blog “Sverige är inte världens navel” claims ”I dont know anything about the accusations against Assange. I know that celebrities such as him has raped women before” Another Swedish female feminist blog Isobels Verkstad : “I was not surprised of the accusations against Assange, I don’t know him, but celebrities like him have raped women at earlier instances”

As we can see, structuring language like this is not a coincidence. It’s a technique based on human psychology. Associating A with B makes people assume they would be linked. In fact that’s just a illusion as the claim A is no evidence for claim B. Clearly the more radical feminist blogs assume Assange is guilty, the liberal blogs assume he is innocent (or guilty of just molestation which could be any party trick gone wrong and is not a serious crime)

In our next blogpost we ask if the Swedish justice system is fair towards men in sex crime at all? We again referred to how Littorin, a member of the government made the conclusion he did not have a chance against the accusations in the media and resigned.

Now Former Chief Prosecutor Sven Erik Alhem asks in “Juridiken Idag” if there was a breach of the secrecy regarding the preliminary investigation. When Expressen asked and had all details, the prosecutor s office confirmed and this could according to Alhem be illegal.

Our analysis and discussion on the matter show how the presumption of innocence practically doesn’t exist because media do not want to be seems as accusing the women of lying. Thus they must assume the women do not lie and that means Assange is assumed guilty until proven innocent. The women are assumed innocent until proven guilty of the accusation so in all practicality, the accusation itself is seen as a crime. This is per definition wrong. Accusing without foundation is stupid,  and steal the resources police need for real violent forced-sex rapes, but its not a crime.

Basically what the case now really is about is media scrutiny. And media is aimed both on the accused and the accusers. The younger woman s name however is not mentioned cause she is not (as the older Anna Ardin) active in politics.

Because of the details in the Guardian, now speculation goes wild on the nature of the sex itself. We discuss how media shows Assange like a Rock Star and thus groupie-sex would be a natural consequence, since we know this is more or less guaranteed among some women. Even when the man with media light on is a violent criminal, some women are very attracted.

We also discussed how he first had sex with Ardin, and then with a younger woman. It is logical to point out the accusation was not even made until the women talked to eachother. Thus Anna Ardin found out Assange had sex with a younger woman 3 days after her.

”The alleged molestation of Ms A was said to have occurred on the morning of Saturday 14 August. The alleged rape of Ms W was said to have occurred on the morning of Tuesday 17 August.” The Guardian

It is very common women become really angry over their partner having a new younger woman. That is simply a matter about female psyche. A few words based on Evolutionary psychology. Young women are stars with lots of male attention, however that doesn’t last. Younger women eventually replace the older ones for male attention. In fact “midlife crisis” describes a man in the age where you have most money and power and thus more access to supermodels in their 20s than the man had when he was in the 20s.

The point here is simple: When an older woman not accuse the guy until hearing he had sex with a younger woman, we know she was not as angry until she heard he replaced her. The older woman waits 6 days to go to police, the younger woman waits 3 days to go to police. When talking to each other they immediately go to police after “talking” however they did not see it as rape, they say  they wanted to know if they could force mr Assange to test himself.

The POLICESTATION makes it a matter of rape. Also I personally suspect the police station are responsible for leaking the information to the Expressen reporter on the same evening. However researching that matter is not allowed for source protection (ironically, the same laws that made Assange choose Sweden in the first place) It doesn’t matter though, very few persons COULD tell Expressen details of the warrant for arrest.

The point here is that molestation while being illegal is not even a serious offense, the real important thing at this moment was what Al-Jazeeras reporter called the “DEFAMATION IMPLICATIONS” it has on everyone there was rape charges in the press. That is a way more serious matter than accusation of molestation. At this point Aktivarum published a post commenting how now we have three different debates in association to the Assange-case.

  1. Debate on sex
  2. Debate on justice system
  3. Debate on press

On the sexdebate some women we speak to claim Assange did not act like a “gentleman” and they also claimed to have heard he did not show proper respect to women in general, and young women specifically. This is claimed on Flashback by women who know Anna.A and the younger woman.

OUR RESPONSE: This was just ridiculous. Had the women not liked the way Assange behaved why would they want to have sex with him? Many women claim women don’t like player-types. This is evidently a wrong. If women did not like players, the players could not even be players in the first place. You have to be liked by women to have sex with women. Casanova himself declared this 100s of years ago.

We say this is image-management. Some girls don’t want it to be known to others what they really like and choose to go for. This is a problem but helping them lie about it don t solve the problem. This should be solved by creating an environment where women feel safe to tell others what they go for in the real world. Neil Strauss book “The Game” gives a detailed picture of the problem. The only real solution is public education and discussion.

On the press debates and justice-system debates however there is a competition about aiming guilt. Some blame the press for publishing. Some blame the prosecutor office for even issuing arrest before having all the proper information needed.

”The alleged molestation of Ms A was said to have occurred on the morning of Saturday 14 August. The alleged rape of Ms W was said to have occurred on the morning of Tuesday 17 August.”

Our final post in this matter is done Thursday 1600. An internet forum is copying an article from Resume telling the details of the entire case. How Expressens reporter jumped into a car and drove very fast 135 km to the Expressen building in Stockholm.

Some people who know Anna Ardin and the younger woman tell details at the internet Forum Flashback. Their claims makes even the older feminist women take Assanges side. One woman say that he promised to call and did not do so. She also pays some things for him and according to a young woman that made her feel used when his phone was off.

Welcome to Sweden, Mr Assange. You should know that paying for sex is illegal here, and if you don’t pay, you’ll be accused of rape and molestation.”

This humorous comment was made when somebody talked about how the younger woman after paying some things for Mr Assange felt used. Some younger women clearly don’t get this “equality” feminist thing goes both ways. An older feminist got furious and said something like: “I have been an active feminist over 30 years and such claim even makes me wanna twist your ear”.

Basically the older women seem to be true liberal feminists. For them feminism means equal rights. However some of the younger women seemed to be radical feminists. For them feminism means the opinion women have lesser power on collective basis than men and thus the right for special treatment in everything. Its basically entitlement-feminism.

Thus it s proven the liberal feminists takes Mr Assanges side when the argument is he let her pay. The argument is that if a woman had sex and let the guy pay, nobody would say he would feel abused and have reasons to ask police if he had been violated when she did not return calls.

The older feminists not only often are on Assanges side. They get furious when they hear younger women claming to be feminists while having the opinion women should be treated specially for being women. That is against everything feminism normally stands for. Thus it s important to remember normal (liberal) feminism and radical feminism are not in agreement at all.

Claes Borgström himself (who are now at the womens side) appears to be radical feminist. So his opinions on rape are as likely to be ideological opinions as based in the actual law text. Remember Borgström himself is the absolute example of what he attacks, He is a white heterosexual rich male. That his ideology is about attacking heterosexual white males clearly don’t include himself.

There is also another aspect. Blog of Erik Laakso (another white man) says: Now you are in Sweden assange, here we treat women with respect. However earlier (and probably unknown to Mr Assange) in Sweden we had a debate about a muslim refusing to shake hands with a woman for cultural/religious reasons. And in that debate many regarded forcing the Swedish way on the foreigner was in fact racist thing to do.

AFTONBLADET SUNDAY: They write the rape-charge was about a condom being ripped. I just read this and the first thought from me is: If a guy ripping a condom commits rape, then a woman lying about being on the pill is also committing rape. The interpretation is crazy, clearly political. When the law was written there is no chance they intended this use.

Observe the police station in question has special focus on prostitution. Thus people there are more  likely to be into the radical feminist theory on the matter of sex for men being about power. The police meets a lot of bad men, misandry could easily appear in such an environment.

http://www.polisen.se/Skane/Om-polisen/lan/St/op/Polisen-i-Stockholms-lan/Sambandet/Sambandet/Artiklar-2009/Torskstopp-pa-Malmskillnadsgatan/

Finally: Important to remember is that the driving force behind these accusations of rape was the police at Klara närpolisstation in central Stockholm, not the two women involved. Borgström asked in Aftonbladet replies: They are not law-trained.

Basically the radical feminist agenda is declaring women raped when they don’t even see themselves as raped. This is nothing new. I include this link for information how ideologically motivated feminists did the same thing in USA, declaring girls raped of their boyfriends against their will. It’s a career move for the feminists cause politicians seldom can see through the bogus claims. Also it’s a chivalry thing. Men are groomed to protect women from harm.

http://articles.latimes.com/2008/feb/24/opinion/op-mac_donald24/4

The Key to this case is to remember three things:

1)      The media coverage caused by a leak in police or at the prosecution office itself caused more harm than any sentence on molestation could do. Staffan Dopping commented this and told that regardless of guilt or innocence in court, media already had its toll on the person behind the media coverage

2)      While police called the prosecutor 1700, the younger woman (who was the only one regarded as rape-victim) was questioned until 1840, according to the radio program “Medierna” the female police questioning the younger woman did not have contact with the prosecutor office

3)      The decision from prosecutor Eva Finné to drop the rape-charge completely was based on transcripts from the questioning of the younger woman. Rosanders claim in Al-Jazeera that Finné hade more information would then completely rest on what the female police was told by the younger woman 1700-1840. That means 1.40 hours was all between an international media frenzy and a unknown rape-charge in the statistics being dismissed cause of lack of ground for claiming rape.

With Regards, Erik founder of the blog Aktivarum

The text ends here.

A final comment: The most effective weapon political correctness has is economic oppression. Basically putting pressure on companies and institutions not hiring people that say things going against the politically correct consensus. Democratic debate however requires several opinions.

When journalists themselves cant write the truth cause media owners threaten they will lose their jobs if they do that is a large problem for anyone who wants real analyses.

Also, without being allowed to do mistakes, people cant really do exceptionally good things. If a soccer player will be kicked of the team for missing one penalty shot. The best way to remain on the team would be not taking any penalty shots.

There are two ways dealing with this situation.

1) Living a double life not using your real name online when reporting on these issues. Then however you cant meet people in real life and discuss the issues.

2) Donations giving you the freedom to be yourself and provide alternatives to the politically correct consensus – or ”master narrative” as it was called by Wikileaks.

If you appreciate our work with the Assange case (or Aktivarum in general) and think alternative opinions as well as this kind of policially incorrect analyses are valuable. Any donation or other suggestions of help would be greatly appreciated and help us get the time needed for better analyses.

This is a longshot but we figured why not? We help people for free anyway we can, I am sure more people are like us. For some people in the world, a small sum is what for us would be a huge difference. Being able for example to buy a laptop in reserve if this computer breaks would be greatly helpful.

Otherwise any work-suggestions would also be ok. Just no ”get rich quick-schemes” we are not looking to get rich. We are looking for ways getting more time for Aktivarum, paying off a smaller debt and better working tools.

For the international visitors.

Well, this has been two crazy weeks. Concerning the Assange-gate the world seemed to ask the question: What the heck happened?

We earlier tried to give Sweden the answer. This is our attempt to answer the huge majority of the world who neither speak swedish or have an updated view on the internal politics in Sweden.

  1. Erik, nice wrapup. The rest of the world now has a chance of seeing this affair from the inside – that it’s not about CIA conspirations.

I don’t think people outside Sweden understand how crazy some things really are here, but this is what happens here when a man is accused of rape (not that he was accused – the women simply came in to ”talk”, so there’s no accusation really).

I wonder if the women knew what would come out of this or if they simply were ”victims” of the circumstances. One would think that Anna A would have known, but the rest of the system is rigged in such a way that all this broke loose just because someone came to the police station and wanted to ”talk”, not press charges – and that’s terrible enough, whatever their intentions were.

  5. Hi Erik, It is very good of you explaining to all non-speaking Swedish readers what the story is about.
If you look at British or US press, there seems to be so many people convinced of a CIA-set-up that they just do not want to take another look at it.

But as we say, there is no point arguing against determined minds. Still, perhaps some-one takes a glimes around the corner and sees the obvious: Two disappointed girls making accusations on subejctive bases of feeling cheated and mis-lead. This may be morally wrong, but it is not a matter of the court.

  9. If what you say is true, then this case not only does a major injustice to Julian Assange (whose project I support), it also does long-term harm to efforts to stop rape.

I don’t know if you’ve looked at the research, but it’s extremely rare for someone to report rape when it hasn’t occurred. Rape is a hideous, traumatic experience which does long-term damage, and on top of that you have to go through the shame and stress of reporting it, being examined, a court case and publicity. For these reasons, rape is still severely under-reported.

Getting rape reported, and making sure everyone recognizes it as a serious crime, is essential to reducing the number of people raped. So a case like this, where you’re saying rape has been claimed without cause, and it’s been blown up into a media storm, will harm efforts to stop rape.

I’m a little confused about your statement that rape isn’t about power: have you spoken to many rape survivors?

    Kommentar av Clytie Siddall — september 1, 2010 @ 7:44 f m

  10. Clytie: I agree that media blowing up something like this might make people who would otherwise report rape think otherwise, and that it might mean that true allegations will get missed, and that’s sad. On the other hand it shows how much power women have at hand when a false allegation can do something like this – not saying that was the intention here, just showing that there is something wrong when things like this happens – false allegations or not.

BTW, what numbers are you relying on when it comes to false rape being uncommon? I’ve read about a few studies which have come up with pretty terrifying figues that it might actually not be uncommon at all:

    http://feck-blog.blogspot.com/2010/07/false-allegations.html

    Kommentar av Matte Matik — september 1, 2010 @ 7:51 f m

  11. Clytie, the issue here is not rape. The issue is how the swedish system of Justice acted. This is very serious because this is normal procedure in Sweden and men are convicted without any proof today, just on a womans statement. Any woman can point at me on the street and accuse me of rape. I have to prove that I’m innocent or I’ll me stamped as a rapist forever and sent to prison for years. This is normal procedure in Sweden, but the press doesn´t care of about it, nor does politicians. In this case the women didn’t accuse him of rape but the system went ahead anyway. Once this has happened your chances are very small, unless your a internationally known person and international press writes about it. BTW, many women has insurances which pays several 1000 dollars just on their report to the police. There is no requirement that there is any confirmation or proof that a rape actually happened. This is a factor behind the so called ”wave of rapes” in Sweden over the last years.

  12. Well all the charges are now back including a freeby charged of sexuellt tvång. Don’t know the English equivalent of that one.

  13. BTW, radical feminists are controlling who becomes a judge via the radical feminist network ”Hilda”. Radical feminist are have key positions among attorneys and judges and the authority which decides if the system has done an injustice. A new attorney has just decided to pick up the rape allegation against Assange. I think it’s good. We need the attention from international press. We´re occupied by extremists and I’m very pessimistic about whether the Swedish society has the vitality and humanistic foundations to change the situation alone.

  15. Clytie Siddall:

”If what you say is true, then this case not only does a major injustice to Julian Assange (whose project I support), it also does long-term harm to efforts to stop rape.”

Of course! One of the arguments I suggested for people involved in the actual case, should Claes Borgstroms stupidities be accepted, in fact was that the handling of the case is offensive on huge scale against victims of real rape.

Several men and women are raped each year. They have been forced to sexual actions through violence and/or threats and for them this should be seen as the biggest insult imaginable wasting resources creating a rape victim from thin air. I am personally related to real victims of rape, people who threated with knife was forced to explicit sexual actions. For them, hearing their experiences, according to some, is of equal worth as consensual sex of the kind in this case, is terrible, like people stepping on them cause the criminal was a nobody, neither with fame, nor political importance.

”I don’t know if you’ve looked at the research, but it’s extremely rare for someone to report rape when it hasn’t occurred.”

Actually, I probably know more of the research on the subject than anyone you have ever talked to. I also know a lot about science in general.

*First you cant say ”rape” as if it was a universal term, its not. Its a juridical term and the law is not defined the same in every country or culture. (Painfully obvious if comparing Iran and Sweden) Thus a person convicted in France might with the exact same behavior be a free man in Germany. For the same reasons, the same behavior in Belgium resulting in accusations of rape would in Netherlands be a lesser accusation or none at all. Its simply a matter of political culture in each country.

*Second, the ideas of using these crimes as political stepping stones were invented in USA. A radical feminist by the name Mary Koss decided that even if a woman says she is not raped, the power to decide whether she is rapevictim or not should befall the feminist politicians themselves, not the actual woman. This is exactly what se see in the Assange accusations. Compare:

”73% of the women whom the study characterized as rape victims told the researchers that they hadn’t been raped.”

    http://articles.latimes.com/2008/feb/24/opinion/op-mac_donald24

Scientifically, none of your claims have basis. I will explain why.

”Rape is a hideous, traumatic experience which does long-term damage”

As I told you rape is not even an universal term, whether rape causes these effects depends on the details of the rape itself (and the individual). Causal claims in real science is a serious thing not to be taken lightly.

(I will give ONE example proving this: Rape doesnt equal suicide nearly as often as school bullying. Still rape is seen as the more serious crime. People can by bullys be driven to kill themselves and still by politicians not even be regarded as victims of a serious crime although it causes death much more often than rape.) Thats just one example, given enough time and money I can give you 10 more.

”and on top of that you have to go through the shame and stress of reporting it, being examined, a court case and publicity.”

This argument is not even about the justice process, this argument is about women having sex and feeling bad over having to admit they did have sex cause the society and media tells them sex should in theory happen a different way. I explained this in detail in the text itself. I quote MY OWN text:

”When we commented on this, we went with the theory that this was a cultural clash between theory-sex-life of radical feminist fantasy and real world sex-life.”

Also, shitloads of statistics confirm this. When asked whose opinion they worry most over in study referred to by Professor Roy Baumeister. The majority of women say other women. They dont worry what us guys will think of women who have sex without following the theoretic rules because they know guys really dont care. (guys dont treat porn stars like shit, guys worship pornstars like they were rock stars)

They are afraid of their rank in the world of women. Which nowadays include media. Thats the SHAME you are talking about. But most people do not know this.

”For these reasons, rape is still severely under-reported.”

The reasons themselves had no scientific base. 1) Rape is a different thing in different countries. 2) Other crimes deemed lesser cause worse damage on victims and 3) finally, the shame you refer to is not even about the justice system but the image shown to other women in media and popculture. The ”slut”factor.

Most people simply dont know and most people dare not even ask cause they are afraid of the accusations themselves.

”Getting rape reported, and making sure everyone recognizes it as a serious crime, is essential to reducing the number of people raped.”

Police doesnt have infinite resources! It doesnt matter what feminists and politicians say (politicians have to say these things cause popculture is full of it). The only REAL way to reduce the number of rapes is to stop waste resources on people like Assange, and others who obviously did not force a woman to sex with violence or threats.

”So a case like this, where you’re saying rape has been claimed without cause, and it’s been blown up into a media storm, will harm efforts to stop rape.”

By Zeus No way! Every normal person in the world understands the difference between Assange and a real rapist.

A real rapist doesnt have women falling all over him. Bill Clinton will never be a real rapist unless an idiot feminist activist claims its rape when he tells a woman to do something she doesnt really want to and she does it because she thinks otherwise he will go to some other woman. Or not like her – or whatever.

Equalling THAT with being taken violently againts your will perhaps by getting a knife against your throat however is a huge insult to real rape victims. And I dont care about the radical feminist theory. Radicals thinks its about power cause they are cultural marxists and for a CM everything is about power. They see nothing else!

Wasting resources on this case however really will harm efforts to stop REAL rape.

”I’m a little confused about your statement that rape isn’t about power: have you spoken to many rape survivors?”

    1. Dont call them survivors, people normally do NOT die of rape. That doesnt mean rape is ok it simply means people die of several things but rape is not one of them

    2. Rape is not about politics or power. Its about sex and violence. In any study you ever make the biggest numbers of rape will happen where there is LACK of sex and ABUNDANCE of violence.

This of cource means you have to do actual empirical scientific studies, not sit and talk to the victims who themselves do not have this information. A blind following a blind.

Victims of rape and/or false rape are easily victims for councelors and experts who themselves really need a lot of rapes reported to make themselves feel important and good persons. As with all industries the sexual harassment industry grows and look for new markets – which is obvious in Daphne Patais book Heterophobia.

However none of this is known to the wide public cause a lot of people would lose money, power and fame.

  18. Actually, rape is about power, not sex. This isn’t a radical feminist theory, but rather the results of years of interviews with serial rapists. It’s accepted non-radical social theory in sociology and guides treatment.

Maybe your repeated statement that rape is not about power is just poor translation of your thoughts in English. Certainly radical feminists see rape as an intentional weapon, i.e., a tool of power over women that is used on purpose to attempt to keep women in line. There’s no evidence to support such a conspiratorial concept, and I would, as you, firmly reject it. But for individual rapists, power *is* often the aim, not sex. Most rapists never even orgasm.

In your article (and comments) you have said some other rather naive things (”Dont call them survivors, people normally do NOT die of rape.” – there are other meanings of the word ”survive” than to just avoid death: avoiding trauma is a very common use of the word). I would put forward that there is a middle ground on feminism and rape that you are over looking.

  19. Pugget:

”Actually, rape is about power, not sex.”

    Completely untrue!

”This isn’t a radical feminist theory, but rather the results of years of interviews with serial rapists.”

Since this goes completely against all EMPIRICAL evidence (not the least the fact that the risk for less fertile-appering women to be raped is 8400% LOWER)

….all it really proves is that sociologist suck as much at revealing lies than everyone else. That rapists lie to sociologist of course is no surprise, many raposts are sociopaths and sociopaths are great liars always aiming to say whatever gives them gain.

”It’s accepted non-radical social theory in sociology and guides treatment.”

All you really prove by saying this is the same as was shown by TheSlate magazine: Several sociologists tell things that are clearly untrue and have no foundation in objective science whatsoever.

”In a survey by the authors of this study, 54 percent of economists and 62 percent of economics students thought that women work more than men, as did more than 70 percent of sociologists.”

    http://www.slate.com/id/2164268

”Maybe your repeated statement that rape is not about power is just poor translation of your thoughts in English.”

No its just simple fact that these people believe everything can be explained by power relations which is FALSE!

They of course have no proof but with political correctness who needs proof? All you need are the ability to attack anyone pointing out such things should be empirically proven, not assumed for ideological reasons.

”Certainly radical feminists see rape as an intentional weapon, i.e., a tool of power over women that is used on purpose to attempt to keep women in line.”

Of course since a black man is three times as likely to be accused of rape than a white that would make radical feminist theory racist as well.

That rape is about power is never proven in any objective science and completely false – Russels teapot comes to mind.

”There’s no evidence to support such a conspiratorial concept, and I would, as you, firmly reject it. But for individual rapists, power *is* often the aim, not sex. Most rapists never even orgasm.”

The ability to have sex is the aim. Not the sex itself. Rape means the ability to have sex through illegal actions like violence and/or threats. Pretending to be a rock star to get sex is not rape – regardless how the woman feels about it afterwards, The feeling itself is not the rape. The ACTIONS used to get sex is the rape.

”In your article (and comments) you have said some other rather naive things (”Dont call them survivors, people normally do NOT die of rape.” – there are other meanings of the word ”survive” than to just avoid death: avoiding trauma is a very common use of the word).”

Common and Ok are not the same thing. This is already told in the text btw.

Calling things that arent…. is, false, manipulative and dishonest. Its easy to see WHY they would do it. Politicians lie to get elected. Thats how its done. Does that mean its a good thing?

    No

”I would put forward that there is a middle ground on feminism and rape that you are over looking.”

Acually, all middle ground is either more on one side than on the other side. For instance not all women and all men are the same. No man or woman are however neither man, nor woman.

Every human on the planet is more man or more woman. Thats the reality of human race. We are not a ideological construct that can be deconstructed in anything else.

  22. FYI for international readers.

The Swedish law enforcement system is highly politicized. Prosecutor decisions are often influenced by moral panics and the prevalent opinions within the establishment and mainstream media.

Sweden is an extreme outlier in Europe when it comes to the dominance of radical feminism. The Swedish ”state feminism” claims that every part of society and the economy is a conspiracy and an expression of male suppression of women. They use the term “könsmaktsordning” (“gender power order”) to denote this.

Swedish Radical Feminism is dominated by prudery, hostility towards sex, and male sexuality in particular. They view the intercourse and the penetration as an expression of female submission and male abuse of “gender power”. The most extreme feminists openly hate men and view every heterosexual intercourse as a rape. For example, they want to punish men who pay for prostitutes with up to three year in prison (in a country with very low prison sentences in general). And of course, they claim that women never lie in a rape case and that there are tens of thousands of unreported rapes going on every day.

At the same time, female participation in the work force is among the highest in the world, government support of daycare and parents with small children is very generous, and global socio-cultural value studies such as Hofstede and the World Values Survey shows that Swedes have one of the most feminine value systems in the world. In addition, the legal system almost openly discriminate against men on the labor market. All public employers are obliged to have a 50/50 distribution of their staff on all levels. If two applicants apply for a job and they are “equally qualified”, the woman should get the job. The list can be made much longer.

My point is that Assange will not get a fair trial. Normally no one would care but in this case the entire world will follow the trial and will not accept Swedish incompetence and kangaroo courts.

As Assange is a hero among left wingers and progressives around the world the outcome will hopefully be international embarrassment for the official government supported Swedish male hating radical feminism.

  23. Sorry about the delayed response, but for some reason wordpress is not e-mailing me replies.

As for there being no evidence that rape is about power, I refer you to the seminal work in the field:

”Men Who Rape: The Psychology of the Offender,” A. Groth

There’s plenty of empirical evidence in there for you.

As for your numbers about ”less fertile-appering” women being raped less, yes, older women are less victimized. The majority of rapes take place between acquaintances, which naturally directs them toward age similar cohorts. Since the majority of rapes are committed by sexually active men of a sexual active age, the age of the victims falls into a similar range. Note that the ever popular media stories about older men hunter younger women on college campuses do not make up a very large portion of actual rape cases – just those that make it to the headlines.

As for the racial element in rape prosecutions, yes, minorities are often scapegoated for rapes they did not commit. In my own community it’s not Blacks but Hispanics who bare the brunt of this. Yet, even after normalization, white men are the most prevalent offender in my area. Clearly there is some racism at work.

Curiously, you do contradict yourself in your comment. You say:

”The ability to have sex is the aim. Not the sex itself.”

I would completely agree with this statement. What you’ve expressed here is a demonstration of power over another. It’s not about the sex. It’s about the ability to have sex whether you want it or not.

Let’s take a clear question and see if we can at last agree what would constitute sexual assault (not rape, but assault). Would taking off a condom in the middle of sex and then continuing to have sex despite a woman’s protests constitute a crime? If not, why not?

  24. Pugget:

”As for there being no evidence that rape is about power, I refer you to the seminal work in the field: ”Men Who Rape: The Psychology of the Offender,” A. Groth”

Well thanks for the source but science today is less political and more objective than it was in the years following the Vietnam War and Groth made those claims 1979 when people more or less though Communism resulted in freedom. The rape studies I refer to was made during the 90s after evolutionary psychology and sociobiology broke the ”no genetics-rule” They could not possibly have been included in the 1979 book.

”As for your numbers about ”less fertile-appering” women being raped less, yes, older women are less victimized.”

When the difference is 1000s of percent, we need better explanations than ”victim of opportunity”

”The majority of rapes take place between acquaintances, which naturally directs them toward age similar cohorts.”

The problem with that claim is: What is the definition of ”acquaintances”? Such a term can include virtually anybody in todays modern society, classmates, co-workers, patients, etc it could mean anything. Also while its very true the women are often young thats not equally true for the men committing the rapes. The ”feminist champion” police chief Goran Lindberg was in his 60s the girls were in their teens.

”Since the majority of rapes are committed by sexually active men of a sexual active age, the age of the victims falls into a similar range.”

Since the invention of viagra, men can be sexually active much longer than theories from the 70s would assume.

”Note that the ever popular media stories about older men hunter younger women on college campuses do not make up a very large portion of actual rape cases – just those that make it to the headlines.”

The majority of actual rape cases cant be used for anything since they either a) dont find the suspect, b) cant prove the suspect is the perp, or c) lack basis for claiming a rape was even committed in the first place. You need to base claims on people in jail for rape. Where it can be claimed proven he did commit the crime rape.

”As for the racial element in rape prosecutions, yes, minorities are often scapegoated for rapes they did not commit.”

Now you need to make up your mind, do the police need to be able to convict men for rape on the womens stories only or not? It doesnt matter shit whether the man is black or white since every black man is also as a man.

”In my own community it’s not Blacks but Hispanics who bare the brunt of this. Yet, even after normalization, white men are the most prevalent offender in my area. Clearly there is some racism at work.”

Are you talking about being suspect of rape or convicted of rape based on womens stories? Cause you need to understand that a hispanic man is also always a man.

”Curiously, you do contradict yourself in your comment. You say: ”The ability to have sex is the aim. Not the sex itself.””

No I do not contradict myself. Its a basic fact of evolutionary psychology: Women mainly look for a number of men to choose resources, men mainly look for a number of women to choose genetics from. (David Buss et.al) Of course both parties are certain THEY have the moral right to have many while the partner should only have ONE.

”I would completely agree with this statement. What you’ve expressed here is a demonstration of power over another.”

That would not mean your theory would be rape is about power, that would mean your theory is sex is about power

”It’s not about the sex. It’s about the ability to have sex whether you want it or not.”

Thats scientifically true of sex in general.
Feminist reseacher Charlene Muehlenhard actually checked this for a fact. In a study published 1988 in ”journal of sex research” she asked college-age women whether they only had sex they wanted

    The women replied
    ——————————-
98% had experienced unwanted sexual actions
46% had experienced unwanted sexual intercourse

    Questions for you:
    1) Are those women rape victims according to you?
    2) Are those women victims of any other crime according to you?

”Let’s take a clear question and see if we can at last agree what would constitute sexual assault (not rape, but assault).”

    Ok

”Would taking off a condom in the middle of sex and then continuing to have sex despite a woman’s protests constitute a crime?”

I dont know if it would be a crime (Fraudelent behavior?) but it sure as heck would not be rape unless she tried to get off him and he physically prevented her beyond what could be considered ”normal playful manner”

    ”If not, why not?”

Because then every guy getting a child because the woman lied about being on the pill would be a victim of rape and women in 1000s would be in prison for lying about having protected sex.

Thanks for commenting but I do have a problem with some parts of your claims. Because No John thats not true at all. They were not convicted cause they were not fast enough ”pulling out”, they were convicted cause somebody made women who hate men a political power.

Had those men been fast enough they would be convicted on anything else, The idea having faster reactions would help against the misandry of radical feminist politicians is as crazy as the idea being more humble would protect jews from the antisemitism of the 30s nazi-party.

Hade the jews obeyed they would still be convicted by nazists – just based on something else equally idiotic. Had the MEN obeyed they would still be convicted by manhating politicians just with some other excuse.

Being faster ”pulling out” would not help. A goverment as misandric and ridicolous convicting men based on ”not pulling out faster” would off course find any other way convicting if the men were fast enough ”out”

”Then we have the men who were raped being forced to pay child support for the child from that union.”

They were not ”raped” thats a wrongful definition of rape. Rape either has a real meaning or its just a shoe to throw at people as a reporter in a video throws shoes at then President Bush in Iraq in 2008.

”So in the US, taking the condom off despite her protests does constitute rape.”

No it doesnt. However doing anything the manhating radical feminist politicians who have been learned acting like the school bully in hoigh school is being REWARDED dont like constitute rape. However there is nothing that they can be guaranteed not to like.

So facing them… you can be convicted regardless of whether you pull out fast enough or not. The REAL problem seem to be many people today actually think that when being abused by a bully over an ugly sweater….

Taking off the sweater would be a solution.

They are so un-educated in traditional science (since modern science doesnt offer any facts) they actually think if only they would switch sweater and obey the bully They would be safe

    The truth?

They would be bullied for something else!

The ”Jante Law” describes the behavior to a degree, but the best description would be:

No matter how silly or stupid the law or a rule is, it is always blindly followed. And people would go to extreme lengths just to respect a certain principle. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and what would be considered a common sense exception in some situations in just about all of the places I’ve visited in Sweden they stick to the rules like crazy.

Don’t get me wrong, not everyone is like this. Unfortunately, my experience tells me most are.

Interesting point Vladimir, Yes its true that (specially lately) ”the principle” or ”the rule” have been something that many go to extreme lengths to follow. Specially when its about values ”Värdegrund” the debate has been insane… And the weird part is that they dont debate actual living, they debate mostly what is considered ”proper language” what opinions you are supposed to say you have.

I think a lot of it has to do with many rules today being the product of rebellion some decades ago. Basically many of todays rules are ”old rule-breaking” in the name of goodness and good-doing. Specially when it comes to ethics this is very obvious. Many ethics today are attempts to handle very old problems. Like the problem with 40s nazism is handled with contempt for any nationalism-oriented things.

I think one thing that is important to mentions here is the difference between rules and laws. Rules are not always laws, many rules are invented on the fly and followed based on the illusion of authority or popularity.

  39. Thanks for a great blog.

First I wish to make clear that I am a Radical Feminist since almost 40 years ago.
I am angry about this case because it is bad for women (as well as men). I have written about this to newspapers.
This case profiles women as weak people who cannot cope with everyday situations like saying no to unprotected sex. There is no claim here that JA bullied the women. They were free to pull away, get out of bed.
They have said they were not afraid of him. They have not said he held them down with superior force. But they did not pull away, they did not get out of bed. Therefore they consented.
This cannot be rape, assault, or insult to integrity or anything but consented sex.

The whole case is bad for women, bad for men – from a Radical Feminist perspective.

Second the case may not have had USA/ CIA connections in the beginning. The point is that it quickly gained these connections.
Normally in the UK an accusation of rape takes many many months to get any action. This one was very fast, oddly fast.
JA is not allowed out of prison on bail. He is not allowed paper/ pen or computer. No other rape suspect is ever treated like this in the UK.
Extradition can only happen if the prisoner is charged. This has not happened yet, but JA’s lawyers are already forced to discuss extradition. USA lawyers are already trying to twist USA law/ make a new law so they can extradite JA.

“… the completely baseless radical feminist theory that rape is about power, not about sex.”

The whole point of rape is that the person raped is controlled. The rapist WANTS CONTROL of the other person.
Rape is therefore about control. That adds up to power.
It’s not an intentional ‘male conspiracy of power’ but the effect is very like that from women’s point of view. Weak men are far too many and they rape: so females (and younger/ weaker males) live in a violent rape context.

There are secondary areas that cause trouble.
Rape is defined differently by different people as individuals, and different legal systems.
Rape is usually private, and evidence is difficult to get.
Most rape happens with a rapist the victim already knows but does not realise is a rapist. If they are already lovers the boundaries are blurred.
Rape shames both the victim and the rapist, though it shames the victim more. (Women are more painfully shamed by other women.)
Victims face huge barriers to get justice – very few rapists are convicted.
False rape allegations can wreck a person’s life but not as thoroughly as rape wrecks a person’s life.
Female rape victims can get pregnant, a peculiarly ghastly suffering.
Rape is used as a weapon of war, to assert control over conquered people.
Some men think rape is a joke and even admire it.
In many societies no one will marry a raped woman. In all societies rape is the major introduction or preparation for prostitution.

So rape is complicated and can harm both women and men. Women are more obviously harmed, but men are also harmed by being unable to be fully sexual, by substituting control for sexuality.

“The Assange-case by now could be seen as example on how radical feminism makes people act crazy anytime the word “rape” is even mentioned.”

On the above analysis rape is a painful topic that provokes strong feelings in many many people. You do not have to be a radical feminist to feel blazing anger at the idea that your wife, your sister, your grandmother, your younger brother, could easily be raped.

It is alleged that JA finds it hard to take a no about sex.
That means he does not like it if a woman says no. Most men feel the same.
It does not mean he did not accept a real no.
A sleepy no without pulling away is not a real no. If a woman really means no she pulls away and if necessary gets out of bed.

I do not think the women are lying. I think they did not act fast enough to express what they wanted. That is understandable. They were in bed with a very sexy man but they wanted condoms. In the conflict their own sexual nature won the struggle.
But if a man’s sexual impulses win the struggle with his polite behaviour we do not excuse him. The same goes for women.
Later these women were frightened about sex diseases or pregnancy. Understandable. But instead of taking responsibility for what they had done, what they had not stopped, what they had consented, they decided to blame the other person. That is weak and shameful.
There is some excuse because when they spoke to the police they were encouraged to think the man was to blame.
But still these women are adults. They choose to take a lover. They want to use condoms. It is up to them to make that very very clear. If the man is impolite/ not fully awake/ unwilling to comply, and tries to start or continue sex without a condom it is up to the woman to pull away, get out of bed.
Only if she tries to pull away and he stops her physically is he wrong and assaulting her. I would say that even if he momentarily stops her in the heat of the moment, providing he then stops and apologises, he is OK.

Thanks again for a great blog.

  40. @Shan Morgain: I’m not sure about this rape and power theory that you’re bringing up but apart from that it’s interesting to see that I agree with someone calling herself (right?) a radical feminist! If you’re actually representative for radical feminists abroad I’d say that something has gone very very wrong with the feminist movement here in Sweden… You’d be flogged for writing the above in a swedish newspaper today – if you ever got it to print (most unlikely).

  41. Matte thank you. I’m glad I’ve shown that Radical Feminism is not about hurting and dominating men.

It’s about women living fully and gloriously, sexually, intellectually, financially, politically, artistically and maternally.

For us to do that we either kill off most males who get in our way and quite a lot of females too! or we try to change things so men too can live fully and gloriously, and strengthen weak women as well.
The killing agenda is really only justified if all else has been tried and failed. We’re a long long way from that. Much sexier and more fun to learen to play together in the Great Game.

Some women don’t want to share their lives with men at all. That’s fine but they still have to share society with them. So better educated, better brought up men and boys benefit all of us.

But it’s not all about making men and boys learn their manners. It’s also about women learning not to be wimps, weaklings.
You can’t look up at the ceiling in silence and expect a man to telepath what you want. You gotta TELL him loud n clear. Often you need to back it up with action.

I think the two Swedish women in this case are victims of people who lost their heads because Assange is famous. They didn’t cry rape they just asked for advice and were upset he slept with both of them. They should have had calm support and they didn’t get it.

Assange might not be a gentleman about wearing condoms but that’s the worst you can say. Might not be true on that either. Apart from that he just took what was offered.

As for rape and power try this little test.
In any situation where two or more people have sex and rape is at issue, remove any component of force or coercion. Could it still be rape?

Of course not. Rape is where one person uses force or coercion (control, power) to get something the other person doesn’t want to give.

It could be a purse, or money, or a signature on a contract. It could be custody of a child. But sex is such an INTIMATE kind of forced theft we give it a special name.

It means one person controls another, shutting off their capacity of choice.
    That’s power play.

  42. @Shan: You haven’t shown that radical feminism is not about hurting and dominating men, you have merely shown that I have something common with a person that is actually calling herself a radical feminist. :) There is too much talk about killing, learn men to behave and learn women to not be wimps for me to be comfortable. Even though I probably disagree with your starting points I’m really happy to hear that you advocate the idea that people (women) have to take responsibility for their actions – which I fully agree with. With freedom comes responsibility, and this is something that is not usually discussed in the gender debate here in Sweden.

I want men and women to have equal rights and possibilities – but with that comes equal responsibility as well. To always see women as victims of ”structures” is not good for women – it is a view of women as powerless and is actually a conservative view, dating back to the traditional gender roles. This is the view media presents of feminism here in Sweden today – giving the women freedom (which means freedom to choose a life that resembles the traditional male gender role, thus making it norm as well) while hardly saying anything about responsibility for their actions. This is both unfair and bad for both women and men.

I’m not saying that rape isn’t about force – however I’m questioning the view that it is ONLY about force (and thus not about sex at all) – which is a common view in the debate here in Sweden. I haven’t made up my mind about it though, and I’m not sure it matters for me personally. I can object against rape anyway.

  43. For Shan Morgain:

    ”Thanks for a great blog.”

Thanks, I am glad you think its a great blog.

First a disclaimer. This reply may seem a bit well… cold. Its cause I dont use this as basis of absolute opinion but as discussion material. For this reason I almost always have a ”yes but is this really true?” objetion to things.

I would prefer you dont take it personal or try to read into my opinions too much. Cause of lack of data in many of these things I dont really have an opinion however I hope Muehlenhards statistics give you and idea of the problem with re-defining rape beyond violence.

As Charlene Muehlenhard said: With the definition unwanted sex – everyone are victims of rape. Most sex is unwanted… during the effect of alcohol we sleep with people we normally wouldnt.

”First I wish to make clear that I am a Radical Feminist since almost 40 years ago.”

Thats ok, though I believe radical feminism in itself was mostly a trick. Reading into it reveals how Marxist thinkers promoted anything that would weaken their enemies (USA/Western world) People like Adorno said the same things years before any feminist said them.

These people were the rock stars of those times so its no surprise many young people and women in particular believed it.

These people never were into fairness, they were into weakining the enemy. Also they fooled people into ignoring biological issues. Because of this a lot of the smartest women in USA never hade any children. They were told women can easily get pregnant when in the 40s and 50s. But thats another thing altogether.

”I am angry about this case because it is bad for women (as well as men). I have written about this to newspapers.”

Cool! And yeah this case is bad for everyone, but even more so for males in Sweden.

”This case profiles women as weak people who cannot cope with everyday situations like saying no to unprotected sex.”

I agree, and actually its worse. Not only does it portray women as weak, it also portray women as stupid, very stupid.

    – Welcome to Sweden Mr Assange, paying for sex is illegal but if you dont pay you will be accused of rape an sexual molestation cause the woman who paid for you feels offended when you did not answer her phone call.

”There is no claim here that JA bullied the women. They were free to pull away, get out of bed.”

In fact this is what the entire swedish debate is about. The ”Katherine MacKinnon idiot-opinion” that guys dont NEED to use violence or force, Women according to her view FEELS they have to obey cause of patriarchy (are adult women slaves to whatever they feel?) thus women cant give meningful consent at all.

Google ”freeze-frighth”. Its insane yet still they act like it is normal for a woman who doesnt want to have sex to do – NOTHING – poor thing is weak and so scared … not of anything the man has done but cause she – for NO REASON AT ALL – think he will do.

If she doesnt have sex she is afraid he will not like it… and do… what? Shout at her? To Quote Cuddy in MD House, ”thats not scary, what is she supposed to be afraid of? more shouting?”

”They have said they were not afraid of him. They have not said he held them down with superior force. But they did not pull away, they did not get out of bed. Therefore they consented.”

As I understand it, they objected to having unprotected sex, thus the debate is whether he should take this as objektion to having sex at all or not.

”This cannot be rape, assault, or insult to integrity or anything but consented sex.”

It begin as consented, then at least one of the women objected to loss of protection. It would seem they now want to interpret this as objection to any sex at all.

”The whole case is bad for women, bad for men – from a Radical Feminist perspective.”

Its bad for everyone except the people who think the personal is politics and the state should regulate intercourse like the church used to do.

”Second the case may not have had USA/ CIA connections in the beginning. The point is that it quickly gained these connections.
Normally in the UK an accusation of rape takes many many months to get any action. This one was very fast, oddly fast.”

Off course USA acted against what they see as a serious enemy when the case was already up and running but I do not think USA made the women go to the police and ”ask for advice”

”JA is not allowed out of prison on bail. He is not allowed paper/ pen or computer. No other rape suspect is ever treated like this in the UK.”

Yeah I know and this is ridicolous cause the police did not even need to go after him. He went to the police station.

”Extradition can only happen if the prisoner is charged. This has not happened yet, but JA’s lawyers are already forced to discuss extradition. USA lawyers are already trying to twist USA law/ make a new law so they can extradite JA.”

Off course! The swedish female police officers who decided to interpret this as rape released the storm. I personally think the reason they did this was cause the focus on that specific polics station against prostitution-use (prostitution itself is not illegal cause of politics defining who is weak and strong)

”The whole point of rape is that the person raped is controlled.”

    How do you know this?

For me thats weird theory made up in the 70s when marxism was the big thing and intellectuals interpreted weak = good and strong = bad (as I told you, they promoted weakness for their enemy – not for their selves)

The whole point of rape is that the person who rapes have sex above his ability to GET sex.

The regulating factor of rape is what kind of pickup-tricks the society allow. An american senator wanted pickup with NLP (See Neil Strauss the game) categorized as rape.

For instance when a guy with bad hangover wake up in the same bed as a really ugly woman whose name he doesnt know…. Society doesnt call it rape.

If I say I am guitarrist of Linkin Park and people belive me, I will have 100 girls to choose from, it is that simple! Not all girls do it but even if just 1/10 of girls do it, in a club with 1000 person thats 100 girls to choose from.

If after sex they hear the truth would that be rape? She thought she had sex with a celebrity and all she got was sex.

Also… Tiger Woods is as likely to rape a porn star as the King of Norway is to commit bank robbery.

”The rapist WANTS CONTROL of the other person.”

    How do you know this?

This is more like marxist politics. For a marxist any human interaction is about power. Listenting to marxist behavior science is like a record with a scratch, power, power, rememeber power power, power power… no I am not kidding: I have been in such debates and its like we debate droids, not humans.

”Rape is therefore about control. That adds up to power.”

You cant really say ”therefore” cause you have given no source or evidence for this to be the case. All we know is that some people think its that way. I want to know WHY they believe this.

”It’s not an intentional ‘male conspiracy of power’ but the effect is very like that from women’s point of view. Weak men are far too many and they rape: so females (and younger/ weaker males) live in a violent rape context.”

How do you define weak men here?

”There are secondary areas that cause trouble.
Rape is defined differently by different people as individuals, and different legal systems.”

That doesnt really matter cause the law doesnt work in theory but in practis. Most systems have the same practise. Even a country talking about consent will when asked HOW they know if consent is there or not check for force and violence. According to Steven Pinker, all cultures in the world have these rules.

”Rape is usually private, and evidence is difficult to get.”

Yes thats true but democracy is more damaged by guilty being free than innocent thrown in jail so lack of evidence cant be used as excuse for a bad justice-system without us losing democracy.

”Most rape happens with a rapist the victim already knows but does not realise is a rapist. If they are already lovers the boundaries are blurred.”

Yes thats true as well. Though this depends on the definition of rape. The feminist definition as unwanted sex is useless.

Charlene M Muelhenhard made a sex-neutral study on this subject on college-students around the 90´s The statistics speak for themselves.

Unwanted sexual actions, women 98%, men 94%
Unwanted sexual intercourse, women 46%, men 63%

More men have unwanted sex than women!

”Rape shames both the victim and the rapist, though it shames the victim more.”

Rape in itself doesnt shame at all. The society-actions are what cause shame. Shame is about what others think.

”(Women are more painfully shamed by other women.)”

Yes and economically women think women who ”give it” too easy/cheap should be shamed cause they create a bad marketplace for women looking for marriage.

Professor Roy Baumeister have studies on this. Women listened way more to other women than to men.

”Victims face huge barriers to get justice – very few rapists are convicted.
False rape allegations can wreck a person’s life but not as thoroughly as rape wrecks a person’s life.”

False allegations of sexual harassment and/or rape have led to several men commiting suicide. I dont know what could be deemed worse than that.

”Female rape victims can get pregnant, a peculiarly ghastly suffering.”

True but today we have ”day-after-pills” so the risk is lower. Also there are abortions. Also all rape-situations are not intercourse. I doubt women think other kinds of rape-peneration is more ok in any way. This is not about true risks but emotional (evolutionary psychology) risks.

”Rape is used as a weapon of war, to assert control over conquered people.”

Anything causing damage to people, things or morale is used as a weapon of war. Also rape-allegitions are used as a propaganda-weapon. In any war u tell people the enemy are raping babies to make them seem less human and more ok to kill. Thus avoiding the psychological costs of war.

”Some men think rape is a joke and even admire it.”

Some men are idiots, I agree completely :). However those men are no more likely to treat other men with respect.

”In many societies no one will marry a raped woman.”

Yes but feminism in the west also have attacked the idea of woman-rols of marriage and children. If the feminist-women dont want to marry. Guys not wanting to marry women should not be a problem.

Also why should a guy have to marry a woman at all in any society except the one where women do not work and need marriage to survive?

The feminist position on this seems completely unclear. Do they want to marry or not? Or maybe its a marxist power thing where they want guys to want to marry THEM so they can say no.

Hope I am not too rough… its unfair you have to be the one answering all this. I bet you have asked some of these things yourself.

”In all societies rape is the major introduction or preparation for prostitution.”

This again goes to the question a society where women do not work. If women do work they dont need to prostitute themselves cause men dont want to marry them cause they have been raped.

However this happens, as several economists have reported. Some women choose high-end prostitution cause it gives a more expensive lifestyle than a regular job.

”So rape is complicated and can harm both women and men. Women are more obviously harmed, but men are also harmed by being unable to be fully sexual, by substituting control for sexuality.”

I dont see any basis for this talk about control. Its way too much marx and freud in those theories. Way too little empirical facts.

The fact is that men want to have sex above their ability to GET SEX, most common method is not rape, its lying to get sex. In fact pretending to be Assange (celebrity, rebel) would be a great way to have sex above ability to get it.

However what happens if some people think lying to get sex should also be considered rape? Thats what happened to Billy Butt, he promised women movie roles and stuff to get sex.. and was convicted of rape.

”On the above analysis rape is a painful topic that provokes strong feelings in many many people.”

The problem with that analysis is that in the word of language-relativity rape would be whatever they say it is. Thats what Mary Koss claimed. She ignored what the ”victims” said and she alone decided who was raped in a famous 1 in 4 study.

”You do not have to be a radical feminist to feel blazing anger at the idea that your wife, your sister, your grandmother, your younger brother, could easily be raped.”

I dont want to reveal too much but if you talk about my girlfriend, my sister or my brother one of those three HAVE in fact been raped. The rape was committed in young age and by use of both force (beating) and violence (threatened with knife)

”It is alleged that JA finds it hard to take a no about sex. That means he does not like it if a woman says no. Most men feel the same.”

Yes, however thats not the issue. The issue is what the woman think a man will do when he doesnt like it. Is she afraid of him dumping her? Is that rape? Is she afraid of him shouting and being angry?

Thats in fact the real issue. Some pretend-scientiests (I call them that) claim women cant be expected to say no if they think the man will not like it.

”It does not mean he did not accept a real no.”

True but these people who say rape is whatever they say it is also say ”accept” means whatever they interpret it as.

”A sleepy no without pulling away is not a real no. If a woman really means no she pulls away and if necessary gets out of bed.”

As I told you earlier (you will not belive how stupid this is) they think a woman who doesnt want to should need to do….

    Nothing!

Its called ”freeze-fright” and this research field is the same kind of lunatics that the huge cases about allegitions of sexual abuse againts children (McMartin case and others)

”I do not think the women are lying. I think they did not act fast enough to express what they wanted. That is understandable. They were in bed with a very sexy man but they wanted condoms. In the conflict their own sexual nature won the struggle.”

    Absolutely true

”But if a man’s sexual impulses win the struggle with his polite behaviour we do not excuse him. The same goes for women.”

I would hopw so but no the same doesnt – to this day – goes for women. Too many ”wannabee-knights-in-armor” in courts and goverments makes it impossible for women to get such responsability.

”Later these women were frightened about sex diseases or pregnancy. Understandable. But instead of taking responsibility for what they had done, what they had not stopped, what they had consented, they decided to blame the other person. That is weak and shameful.”

Actually they did not press charges at all. The (female) police did. They decided (without the women victims approval) Assange should be accused of rape. The two female prosecutors was NOT in agreement. The more experienced one (Eva Finne) said it was not rape and hardly even a crime.

But then infamous male-bashing leftwing social democrat Claes Borgstreom started the current craziness.

”There is some excuse because when they spoke to the police they were encouraged to think the man was to blame.”

In Sweden rape is a ”public offence” same as domestic abuse. Even if the victim claims no crime was committed – there will be a charge.

”But still these women are adults. They choose to take a lover. They want to use condoms. It is up to them to make that very very clear. If the man is impolite/ not fully awake/ unwilling to comply, and tries to start or continue sex without a condom it is up to the woman to pull away, get out of bed.”

Yes I agree… But not according to some feminists here. They more or less are like clones of Katherine MacKinnon and her claim women in patriarchy cant give MENINGFUL consent.

For her rape is not a crime against the woman, its a crime against the state.

”Only if she tries to pull away and he stops her physically is he wrong and assaulting her. I would say that even if he momentarily stops her in the heat of the moment, providing he then stops and apologises, he is OK.”

I would say sex always have an normal element of force. When talking about rape we mean force above what would often these days be a normal part of sex.

Many women wants to feel ”taken” I dont know what Ardin is like in bed but judging from her talk and appearance she hardly wants nice and easy.

”Thanks again for a great blog.”

Thanks a lot for a great reply giving me a lot of things to think about.

  44. I would say to the person who believes that every woman who claims to be raped is telling the truth, that this is mostly true within a normal context… The Assange case though, is definitely not a normal case.
Assange is in an extraordinary situation which most alleged rapists do not find themselves in.
For this reason the world is absolutely right to act cautiously with these women’s claims.

  45. Harry:

”I would say to the person who believes that every woman who claims to be raped is telling the truth, that this is mostly true within a normal context…”

Actually that is completely wrong. Because of the present political debate people dont dare question ”rape-victims” at all out of fear feminists will shout ”Wolf” and destroy those peoples lives (everyone including politicians fear this… which is kinda weird since the fear itself is the main reason for damage)

Thus there is no risk with a rape-accusation for the ”victim”. You can lie and rarely will you get punished – often you get rewarded. Unless the claimed perp is a celebrity most people dont care at all. For this reason almost all theory on the matter is about celebrities and men with power.

Since its this easy for a non-raped woman to gain leverage by claiming to be raped. Lots of women claim rape when they have not been raped. A US Airforce special investigation showed out of over 600 rape claims about half were false.

This does not mean I claim women are bad people. If there was this law for men to gain leverage over other men with hardly any risk involvded you would gets lots of false accusations from men too.

Make it this easy to use and people will use it – thats just common sense.

”The Assange case though, is definitely not a normal case.”

YES IT IS! Its a very normal case (I have connections with people who work with this kind of things on day to day basis),

The only problem with the Assange-case was they went after a world-class celebrity. Same thing happens if they claim Ronaldo or Zlatan committed rape. Then people will care cause they are important person. Had it been a nobody-man he would not stand a chance against people like Borgstroem and Marianne Ny.

You simply dont know these things!

”Assange is in an extraordinary situation which most alleged rapists do not find themselves in.”

Oh really? How would you know?
Lots of people are in the same situation. ”He said, she said” only they are not famous so when they are in that situation. YOU WOULDNT CARE!

”For this reason the world is absolutely right to act cautiously with these women’s claims.”

Actually… Its right to act cautiously with any womans claim. Its called ”presumtion of innocence” INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!

And its the principle of every accusation of crime (including rape)

Its just that the tyranny of political correctness means people normally dont dare assume a person accused of rape is innocent.

They should do this according to the law and principle of democracy but they simply refuse to follow the rules out of fear of feminism and the harm that could be caused to them personally.

Thats what political correctness is, fear of personal harm.

  47. Erik no problem about taking things personally. I’m too old and experienced for that. But thanks for checking.
However you have got some things plain wrong about Radical Feminism.

First you seem to think that Radical Feminism is a Marxist perspective. This couldn’t be more wrong. Heavens – is this the way things have been twisted for a later generation?

Radical Feminism simply asserts that I as a woman need to explore putting my own needs first – as a woman.
    That’s it. Plain and simple.
It arose out of a rejection of Socialist Feminism which at the time was being trapped in the male trade union’s demand that women “wait until after the revolution.” Some of us decided this was going to be a very long wait. We didn’t want to go on licking envelopes and certaiun parts of male activist bodies as our part in activism.
So we said No! we are going to put women’s issues at the top of the queue if we want.

Note Radical Feminism does not say that men’s needs do not matter, nor am I required to always put my needs, women’s needs first. I am just required to CONSIDER my needs/ women’s needs to see if it is my decision to put them first.

In fact I personally found that after several years of Radical Feminism, once I found my strength as a woman, it came naturally to recognise that men deserved equal consideration. But it was impossible to see that when I was weakened and up against a very patriarchal society as a young girl. In that condition all I saw was males blocking me or trying to use me on every side. I had to learn to be able to put myself first before I could support men as well.
Again Radical Feminism is about learning that women can, and often should, come first. Not every time, not unthinkingly, but as a very very important point to check.

I agree Radical Feminism is not “into fairness.” It is a medicinal antidote against the balance being set against us as women. The way to correct it is to push hard the other way.
I also agree with critics who say this is dangerous. If Radical Feminists do not truly access strength but instead get stuck in resentment and complaining then they are a pain to themselves and to others. Manhating is perfectly logical – so many men behave atrociously. But to get stuck in it poisons the woman and obviously is unfair to decent men.
As Radical Feminists our desire is power, and with power comes a greater sense of safety and control. That in turn brings greater fairness and compassion to our thinking.

But Radical Feminists never ignored biological issues. The opposite.
To us biology is extremely important. So much so that to me it is impossible for women and men to be completely equal – we are too different. In many situations yes it is equal, but when being female/ male – it is females that get pregnant, have abortions, give birth, breastfeed. These differences change our needs on each side.

With such very different needs we have inevitable conflict. We need to learn the other side, and try to balance the needs. In some cases though there is no real compromise e.g. abortion, which cannot be ‘fair’ to both.

  48. @Shan: Thanks for an interesting comment to the Guardian article. I still can’t believe that you’re calling yourself a radical feminist. What you speak of sounds far from what is pushed through Swedish media, and you appear far too sensible…

One typical example on how things are here in Sweden… The biggest evening newspaper here has a list of books that are suitable for christmas gifts. First one on the list? Valerie Solanas S.C.U.M. manifest…

    http://www.aftonbladet.se/kultur/bokrecensioner/article8297492.ab

The foreword to it was written by Sara Stridsberg, who later founded S.K.A.M. – Skär Kuken Av Männen (Cut the Cocks Of the Men). Now that’s what I associate radical feminists with here in Sweden. Other well-credited newspapers (Dagens Nyheter for example) publish articles where the main thesis is ‘Men are animals’, and it’s not written ironically. If there was just a random article now and then I could accept it, but this is the common deal.

Now, do you think this is a typical Swedish phenomenon, or is this the general situation even abroad? I’m honestly wondering since you sound far to sane to be a radical feminist from what I’m used to…

    Kommentar av Matte Matik — december 19, 2010 @ 8:02 e m

  49. Matte I may shock you now but I have one of the original copies of the SCUM Manifesto on my shelf. It is with my selected collection of my choice of the most brilliant books I ever read.

I wouldn’t put it on a Christmas list though any more than I’d put stuff about concentration camps or gulags or the Inquisition. Unless someone had specialist interests in one of those directions.

I do not like the sound of what you describe in Sweden. That is BAD feminism, not Radical Feminism!

I would however use SCUM as a book for discussion in one of my seminars or classes. (For younger students I would use quotes)

SCUM is a savage truthspeaker book. It is a major part of the Radical Feminist position, to recognise that there is a war on women. Not a declared war, not a deliberate war either. But the effects of the long list of atrocities worldwide committed against women mean women need to wake up and realise the EFFECTS of this are a war. On us.

SCUM educates us that most men are urgently in need of using us women, of acting parasitically on our power as women.

Because SCUM was a pioneer it is brutal, uncompromising, extreme.
Later feminism is able to look at WHY men are so dependent on women to feel powerful. This is constructive.

A book that helped me understand a lot about why men are so vulnerable, at the mercy of their programming, so easily pushed into violence, was Angela Phillips ”The Trouble with Boys.”

I used this stage of understanding in bringing up my beloved son. In partnership with his father who I also love as a man who balances the difficulty of being a man amazingly well.

Understanding that boys grow up hollow, lacking a sense of how to be a man, helps. They grow up dominated by females as small children, lost and squashed under female power. They are lost and reach out for crazy ideas of maleness like Action Man to fill the huge emptiness. They become crude, weak copies of Action Man.
Then they are also separated from and learn contempt for mothers, to ‘save’ them from it. Also they create maleness by NOT being like her – she is soft and cuddles, so they are hard and don’t.

I endured much in order to stay with my son’s father. He’s as good as a man gets – bloody wonderful – but still damaging. I coped and he also sacrificed a good career to work from home for his son’s sake. Together we ensured my son got clear solid stuff every day on being a man. It worked.

He is almost 20 and never separated from me – never went to school. (He has all the independence he could possibly want, far more than most children and young people.)
I learned you see that boys are wrenched away from mothers to ”toughen” them, to brutalise them in societies at war, or who must hunt or labour away from home for long periods.
My son lived close to me day by day. He was taught to honour me, to cuddle me, which he still does very happily. He also criticises me very firmly indeed at times.

I am very proud of him as a truly strong and tender male. In my eyes my radical methods have worked.
It also means I do understand men’s terrible insecurity, inability to feel except with penis or anger, fear of women. I love men dearly who struggle with it all and don’t take it out automatically on me because I’m a woman.

Woman, that terrifying person who once changed his nappy. Yet wile that lies inside he is still expected to act like a master of his world. The tension is appalling and too often spills over into violence.

  51. Shan:

Thanks for your point of view, I´ll try to clarify what I mean so we can discuss it. I could be wrong of course.

”Erik no problem about taking things personally. I’m too old and experienced for that.”

I am glad for that Shan, however since Eva Lundgren also is both old and experienced my conclusion is you are smarter than her as well.

    ”But thanks for checking.
However you have got some things plain wrong about Radical Feminism.”

I am not sure about that, I will give you some background on what I mean and see what your response is.

”First you seem to think that Radical Feminism is a Marxist perspective. This couldn’t be more wrong. Heavens – is this the way things have been twisted for a later generation?”

Yes I do think Radical feminism in the way it has been represented is a marxist perspective. But I dont mean marxist in the traditional sense of economics. I mean marxist in the later sense of culturalism (today often called multi-culturalism).

You see there are in fact two kinds of marxism. The older more ”red/communist” one dealing mainly with workers-revolution. The second one however is not about class or workers, its about dividing society in different ”cultures” to create weakness. To accomplish this they promotes these groups to be selfish and critical.

A big advantage the second kind of marxism (or post-marxism as professor S. Nordin calls it) had was that most people did not knew it was marxism at all. They did not call themselves marxists. They called themselves things like social critics, social research. And they still do.

”Radical Feminism simply asserts that I as a woman need to explore putting my own needs first – as a woman. That’s it. Plain and simple.”

Yes but there is also the problem.

You cant put your own needs first – as a woman – cause ”as a woman” implies the needs of other women, not your own needs. And this is exactly what happened to radical feminism. Radical feminism became focused on women as a group. Women as an idea of what women should be like.

This idea crashed against the real world, and specifically against the reality of the family unit (see for instance Erin Pizzey). This is not unique to feminism, the exact same thing happened to blacks, homosexuals etc… They all started to be obsessed with the ”idea of their group-identity” and as a result lost everything else.

What feminism lost completely was the relations to the opposite sex (men). The person who probably was the first to point this out in a larger context was Ph.D Warren Farrell, he went from a feminist in the 70s to the book ”Why men are the way they are” in the 80´s

”It arose out of a rejection of Socialist Feminism which at the time was being trapped in the male trade union’s demand that women “wait until after the revolution.”

Yes, the later post-marxism did reject traditional socialism. However socialism and marxism is not the same thing at all. Marxism is a theory about the world. Socialism was a means trying to cope with that reality. Socialism failed and then we got the new marxism relying on culturalism, social critics and specifically promoting group identity.

Today the real name is cultural marxism, however most call it political correctness.

”Some of us decided this was going to be a very long wait. We didn’t want to go on licking envelopes and certaiun parts of male activist bodies as our part in activism. So we said No! we are going to put women’s issues at the top of the queue if we want.”

Yes thats true as well. The problem however is you failed to take into account the fact that men act in RESPONSE to women. Warren Farrell was probably the first person in the entire USA who presented this as a fact. When women do A, men do B. Example: The Sexual revolution (chapter 8, ”why men…”)

Women/feminism resented sexual repression and the ”chains” of family life.

    * Older men resisted. Younger men said, ok, lets be sexual, lets be free (the church was in fact repressing men as well)

    * Present day women/feminism are trying to get back to sexual repression, while attacking porn as well as men´s ability to be sexual and free…. in fact youd be hard pressed to find a difference to the views of the pre-feminism christian church and todays academic feminism.

    Do you see the problem?

”Note Radical Feminism does not say that men’s needs do not matter, nor am I required to always put my needs, women’s needs first. I am just required to CONSIDER my needs/ women’s needs to see if it is my decision to put them first.”

Again, you cant put your own needs first when you are about the needs of women as a group. This is specifically true of Presidental elections in USA, young women vote their groups needs – democrats – older women with kids vote their persons needs – republican.

Also…Radical feminism doesnt need to say men´s needs do not matter. We have entire goverments for that job ;)

The problem with the idea of womens issues is the assumption there is a thing like men´s issues.

”In fact I personally found that after several years of Radical Feminism, once I found my strength as a woman, it came naturally to recognise that men deserved equal consideration.”

That may be true of persons, its however not true for the movement.

”But it was impossible to see that when I was weakened and up against a very patriarchal society as a young girl. In that condition all I saw was males blocking me or trying to use me on every side.”

Yes, thats called equality… men block other men so a man not blocking a woman cause of her sex is the opposite of equality. However it is off course good for ”the group” women.

”I had to learn to be able to put myself first before I could support men as well. Again Radical Feminism is about learning that women can, and often should, come first. Not every time, not unthinkingly, but as a very very important point to check.”

Yes but I would like to hear you commenting on the difference between a woman as a person and women as a group.

”I agree Radical Feminism is not “into fairness.” It is a medicinal antidote against the balance being set against us as women. The way to correct it is to push hard the other way.”

This is absolutely not true IMO. Women are not imbalanced towards men as a group. Women are however plain outright BAD at taking notice of lower ranking men (this is a choice!). Women wants to marry up – not down. This is not lesser true of women with money and power.

But because of this focus, women constantly FEEL men are above them. Cause they really only see the men who are.

When discussing power (in western democracy), women are not below men. Women are in the middle. Way below men who have lots of power however also way above men who have no power.

”I also agree with critics who say this is dangerous. If Radical Feminists do not truly access strength but instead get stuck in resentment and complaining then they are a pain to themselves and to others.”

    Yes, agree completelty

”Manhating is perfectly logical – so many men behave atrociously.”

    Om manhating/misandry…

I do not agree at all. The reason women think many men behave atrociously is again the women (sexual) focus on the men who HAVE power (as opposed to many men who do not have power).

The lesser more true of any person in the world.

You see if you do not have power – you cant act bad. The problem is the main focus for any women expression of sexuality is a man who HAVE ability to act bad. Women simply wants men to choose to be good when they have very little reason to do so.

This is equally true of Hillary Clinton as it is of porn stars like Jenna Jameson. While its true men act bad against them its equally true they choose to hang around the men with the best ability to do so. Thats their CHOICE and feminism blaming men for this is ridicolous.

”But to get stuck in it poisons the woman and obviously is unfair to decent men.”

Again, men act in response to women. When lots of men are not decent, those none-decent men will be focus of favoritism by women.

”As Radical Feminists our desire is power, and with power comes a greater sense of safety and control. That in turn brings greater fairness and compassion to our thinking.”

This is again only true of men of power. Its true of people like Assange, Kid Rock, Bruce Willis etc… Its hardly true of ”men” they are not representative of what most men are like. Thus when you say ”many men behave…”

It means one man act bad – another man ”the man-culture” gets the blame cause women have a higher opinion of men with power thus dont really WANT to attack those men… but men in general

You should then be a part of the man-culture against goverments – the exact opposite is true today!

When your boyfriend is an asshole – EVERY GUY is a creep! This means he (the guily party) is less a creep) and lots of guys who did nothing more a creep.

This is also a scientifically statistically proven gender-difference. When first facing actors and then seeing them punished women were equally horrified when the assholes. were punished

Men were horrified when nice persons were punished but happy when assholes were punished.

Women thus soften the blow for the guilty party and give innocent people same guilt. Men dont!

For women man-hating may FEEL logical but hating the guy who did nothing more and the guy who did everything less is not logical if you want people to do less bad things.

    Its called ”rewarding bad behavior”

”But Radical Feminists never ignored biological issues. The opposite.
To us biology is extremely important. So much so that to me it is impossible for women and men to be completely equal – we are too different.”

Well you talk about how radical feminism is about women getting more power right? Well you then ignore the biological fact that power do not distribute equally among men.

Liberal feminists made this argument, its part of a course I took. Conservative feminism wanted women-specific things to get higher value, socialist feminists wanted to give women as a group higher value and liberal feminist argued that group-values do not work cause when taking power from men-group… the power taken comes from the weak persons – not the strong ones.

Furthermore, in the women-group. The power gained will not distribute equally. Already strong women will get stronger. Weak women will gain nothing at all – but feel empowered – which means they are less likely to marry, less likely to have kids etc..

All this is statistically true today.

”In many situations yes it is equal, but when being female/ male – it is females that get pregnant, have abortions, give birth, breastfeed. These differences change our needs on each side.”

Yes but thats the point. You say with more power comes the sense of control. Thats absolutely NOT true. Power is a trade-off of control and liberty.

The philosophy sounds a bit like this: With more power you have less control and are more a part of something you cant control.

”With such very different needs we have inevitable conflict. We need to learn the other side, and try to balance the needs. In some cases though there is no real compromise e.g. abortion, which cannot be ‘fair’ to both.”

No there is not conflict, this is the point of biology I was making. Women are biologically meant to lose this conflict.

The entire conflict is a test of men. Otherwise women would start to ally with weak men – not strong – however the weak men are not of interest cause they FAIL the test.

When too many men fail the test….

Less babies are born and a society/culture where this problem doesnt exist will take over power.

And even if you do not agree with my (causal) analysis.
Do you think I am wrong on the statistics?

This country has bent its knees for the Nazis during the second world war, allowing German troops free passange to invade Norway. They will sell out Julius Asange like a dog. He will never get a fair trail in this country. The Swedish establishment is once again hyper nationalistic and will support the the two bimbo bitches involved.
